Groovy Graffiti

Bonjour Blog readers.

This term my pod has been working on graffiti wall art. This art is not only fun but tells everyone things about you: what you like, your name and many others.

Background

For our background we painted a brick wall of one colour. We made the bricks look realistic by using a sponge to paint them on. I made the background on one of the last days of doing it.

Embellishments

The embellishments are little pictures that go around your name, which by the way is enormous. The pictures are supposed to show some images of what you like such as your favourite sport, food, subject, animals, colour etc.

Name painting

Name painting was personally my favourite, we got to write our name in any style we wanted. Painting it afterwards was also super fun, but not quite as enjoyable as finding the right text to use.

Finished product

My finished product was a yellow brick wall, with tiny embellishments and a big name in the middle (not exactly the middle but pretty close). My name looked awesome, the H – A -Y – E -Y were block letters and the L  was a spray paint can. Overall I thought I had done well. I found drawing the embellishments quite easy. But found the name side of thing rather hard. If I did this art again I would try to spend less time on the name and more time on the wall.

My Art…

What would you do for your embellishments
