Octopus oddities – kick start

Heyy perfect blog readers.

Today I learnt all about Octopus. Did you know that they have not 1, not 2, but 3 hearts? That is kinda cool if you ask me. They also have blue blood. The create task was to colour in an Octopus either online or ion paper. I printed one off and coloured them in with pencil. The colours I chose were red/pink and blue/purple. 2 colours that pair perfectly! What colour would you have coloured it?

Legs legs legs? Step it up

Hello again blog readers.

Today I did the step it up task for the Legs legs legs. As you know last time I posted it was the Legs legs legs – kick start from the summer learning journey. That task was about Mosha that lost her front leg. This one is about Turbo, he lost BOTH of his front legs. His owner made him two front wheels to replace his front legs. The task was to create “the food dispenser 5000,” “The auto – cooling system,” or “the turbo booster.” I created a food dispenser 5000. At the front of the machine is a small box, when Turbo gets hungry he rubs his nose on the box which will then open the treat filled container.

What would you have done?

Legs Legs Legs? – kick start

HEYY blog readers >.<

Hope you are all having an AMAZING day! Today I made a leg for Mosha. Mosha is an elephant in Thailand who lost her left front leg when she was just a 2 year old. Mosha was so brave and a man invented a prosthesis (a false leg) for her. I chose to make my design glossy strawberries and creamy dots on a pink leg. I chose this design because in the video he mentions how much Mosha loved treats. Strawberries and cream are a sweet and delicious treat. Mosha also gives me the vibes of cutesy, delicate and preppy – making strawberries the perfect design.

What would you guys have done??

Legs Tally – kick start

Hello Beautiful blog readers,

today I did another Summer Learning Journey task. Today’s task had a mix of two things, maths and centipedes. ICK! First we had to read a paragraph about them, we then watched a video of a giant centipede.  It was not my favourite. I learnt that centipedes have 100 legs and divided 100 by like 5 different numbers. cool right?

All up this activity didn’t take me long at all and I think that you should give it a try. Let me know in the comments what your favourite insect is.

Thank you for reading this weeks blog post, blog to you soon. Byyyyee!

Message in a Bottle – Step it up

Konnichiwa Blog Readers!!!

Today for SLJ I did the message in a bottle – step it up. I really enjoyed this activity because I got to choose where my bottle would end up! Although you can’t be sure where it will truely end up at, I still loved getting to think about it.

I chose my bottle to end up in NYC, even though I know that it would probably never end up there I didn’t see any harm in hoping. The reason I chose NYC is because going there is my life’s biggest dream. My teacher last year has been there a few times and has told us how awesome and crazy it is. I’m a city girl more than a country girl, that’s for sure.

If I did the task again I would probably put it where it would most likely end up!

If you did a message in a bottle, where do you think yours would end up?

Aquatic Animal – Step it up!

Bonjour Blog readers,

Today I did another Summer Learning Journey task! This task was super fun because I got to create my very own non-existing sea creature. An idea from The Summer Learning Journey team was to combine two animals into one. Also known as a Hybrid!

I chose a penguin and a shark for two reasons.

  1. Both look adorable as a cartoon, which I thought would make them as one animal look so unique and cute.
  2. One I absolutely adore, the other I am terrified of, this makes a perfect combo!

Let me know what you think in the comments. Also, what two animals would you do for a Hybrid???

Blog to you soon, au revoir!
